Job Description
The Director of Strategic Analytics will be responsible for partnering with senior Product Leaders to conduct performance monitoring and datadriven consulting projects. This person will work closely with the Head of Issuing Solutions to evaluate new business opportunities GTM strategies and investment decisions. This individual will also be responsible for partnering with crossfunctional team members (e.g. Data Product Sales Technology Client Services Finance) to conduct adhoc analyses develop scalable business routines create data governance strategies and drive crossfunctional alignment.
This is a critical position reporting to the Head of Issuing Solutions Strategy. This role requires strong data skills structured problem solving and excellent communication. This individual will be expected to lead large crossfunctional engagements handle multiple projects at the same time manage and mentor junior employees and present to senior audiences.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50 or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD)
Preferred Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 810 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD
- Strong structured problem solving & communication skills.
- You have excellent project management skills and experience with influencing without authority in a large crossfunctional team environment.
- You are a selfstarter who is comfortable in ambiguous environments.
- Collaborative spirit and a knack for understanding and communicating stakeholder needs.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on articulating business minutiae and nuances in simple easytounderstand ways.
- Previous people management experience.
- You have prior experience in creating automated reporting & dashboards (e.g.: via Tableau).
- Previous experience in financial services and/or payments preferred.
- Excellent analytical (qualitative and quantitative) acumen. Must have a technical background in pulling data developing models and conducting analyses. Must be able to code in Excel VBA and SQL. Experience in Python R and other languages preferred.
- You are experienced in presenting information to all levels including senior executives
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.
