Job Description
** The Opportunity is to work in North CharlestonSC **
- Perform structural assembly and installation of aircraft components such as landing gear control surfaces exterior panels carpets stowbins lavatories galleys doors and seats.
- Install aircraft system components including tubing valves regulators actuators compressors and ducts.
- Read and interpret technical work instructions blueprints drawings and specifications.
- Utilize manual and automated tools including rivet guns screwdrivers ratchet wrenches nut runners Winslow 90Degree Power Vane and Quackenbush.
- Work with chemical solvents sealants coatings primers adhesives and paints.
- Conduct quality inspections ensuring compliance with FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention protocols.
- Operate mechanical lifts (e.g. ladders tiger and snorkel lifts) and work around energized sources and electrical systems.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and regulatory compliance in a production environment.
Qualifications :
- 710 years of experience in aerospace fabrication aerospace manufacturing or aerospace structural assembly.
- 710 years of experience with aircraft systems including hydraulics ICS PECS duct installation IFE interior decorative repair waste and potable water systems.
- Ability to work variable shifts 1st 2nd or 3rd).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Strong communication skills work ethic and ability to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to lift/carry 1035 pounds and perform physical tasks such as kneeling bending reaching and standing.
- Comfortable climbing ladders scaffolding or working in confined spaces.
- Experience using highimpact vibratory tools (bucking/riveting).
- Work with highhazard chemicals and in noisy environments.
