Job Description
Carolina Plus Urgent Care is seeking experienced PRN Nurse Practitioners/PRN Physician Assistants to join our care team in various shifts. We re searching for individuals with compassion empathy and a genuine desire to help our patients affect lasting change. If you re a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant with experience we d love to meet you!

Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Diagnose and treat acute episodic or chronic illnesses.
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients and document results.
- Finish charts appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.
- Familiarity with patient age range of six months to geriatric population.
- Place IVs and blood draws as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- SC Nurse Practitioner License or SC Certified Physician Assistant Licensure (PAC) required
- DOT Certification required (Not mandatory)
- A minimum of six months of experience in an urgent care/ER setting required (Mandatory).
- Previous experience in primary care/family medicine helpful
- IVs and drawing blood experience a plus
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to commit to PRN shifts
