Specialty Backup Available: Multidisciplinary surgical team
Support Staff Available: Surgical PAs Open Heart ICU APRNs Officebased APRNs
Reason for Coverage: Longterm locum coverage to support cardiothoracic surgical team

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active Florida medical license
Certifications: Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Experience: Proven experience in all aspects of cardiac aortic and lung surgery
Other Qualifications: Willingness to collaborate with tenured and newly graduated surgeons in a highvolume setting; no telehealth
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a range of cardiothoracic surgeries excluding esophageal procedures
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient surgical care
Participate in rotating weeknight and weekend call coverage
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team to deliver highquality patient care
Contribute to a practice performing 1500 surgical cases annually
