- Clinical lead for Respiratory Therapy staff at all three sites working in direct patient care
- Coordination of daily activities(Adult pediatric and neonatal) patient assessment airway management invasive and noninvasive ventilation member of cardiac arrest team attendance at high risk deliveries pulmonary diagnostic testing arterial blood gas procurement home oxygen assessments
- Coordination and supervision of Respiratory Therapy Clinical Externs
- Superuser for Respiratory Therapy staff providing technical support for equipment equipment checks preventive maintenance ventilator cleaning and preparation for use equipment stocking ordering of supplies equipment evaluation
- Respiratory Therapy discharge planning representative
- Development of short and longterm goals and objectives for Respiratory care and participates in Quality Management and some Inhouse staff education
- Committee representation internally and externally (ICU Committee Cardiac Arrest)
- Staff scheduling in coordination with Manager monthly and annual report preparation protocol development
- NRP / ACLS Instructor certification
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Respiratory Therapy Services
- Participates in the development of appropriate risk and quality indicators of Respiratory services.
- Keeps record of maintenance of equipment.
- Assists with data collection and analysis.
Qualifications :

- Current registration in good standing with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
- Bachelors degree in related field preferred

Additional Information :
Hours: Monday to Friday; 0700 to 1500 (hours are subject to change based on operational requirements)
Salary: $44.643 to $57.997 per hour
