Job Description

The primary function of the Human Relations intern will be to assist with various HR tasks such as recruitment onboarding and employee relations helping to ensure smooth HR operations. The intern will also support administrative duties including maintaining employee records and coordinating required training sessions.

  • In this internship role you will have the opportunity to be on the floor to meet different challenges make decisions and quickly see the results.
  • You will build your own capabilities through the job experience mentoring and training.

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program in Human Resources Business Psychology Sociology or a related field
  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8
  • Proficient Microsoft Office products (Word Outlook Excel)
  • Ability to provide own housing near Clinton MS area
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.

THE ENVIRONMENT

  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as company issued/approved steel toe shoes safety glasses hearing protection etc.  as needed in the required areas.  
  • The job is within a climatecontrolled office environment.  You will have to also go into the plant where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold) forklift and pedestrian traffic and noise.
