Job Description

To meet delegated legal objectives such as case planning development and management legal research drafting and analysing legal documents. Utilise technical knowledge to make recommendations to legal team members.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in Law 
  • Admitted Legal Practictioner of the High Court of Namibia


Additional Information :

Experience:

  • 3 years post admission commercial and commercial legal drafting experience.
  • Proven experience in case planning development and management legal research drafting and analysing legal documents with at least 3 years within the legal and/or financial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address internal client needs by providing basic to intermediate technical legal advice to Legal Teams within the Country or Product Areas and external legal representatives generally under supervision given limited experience.
  • Consult with internal clients to understand business requirements and provide sound legal advice pertaining to the drafting vetting review dissemination and/or negotiation of standard legal documentation and processes providing clear and accurate legal opinions based on sound judgment.
  • Research case studies and legal precedent and assess the implications thereof so that the functions and industry knowledge may be leveraged.
  • Develop and manage relationships with identified external stakeholders relevant to the business and external regulatory bodies so that pertinent business networks and connections may be relied upon.
  • Respond to business requests and appreciate client centricity through effective efficient of transactions utilising technology.
