Job Description
As a fulltime Bartender at Esplanade Lakewood Ranch you will be an integral part of our Food & Beverage team providing exceptional service to our members and guests.
Your role will focus on crafting beverages engaging with guests and ensuring a welcoming and elevated experience. We are looking for individuals with a passion for hospitality a strong knowledge of cocktails and a desire to deliver topnotch service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Greet and interact with members and guests in a professional friendly and courteous manner ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
- Beverage Preparation: Accurately prepare and serve beverages including cocktails wine beer and nonalcoholic drinks according to the established menu and recipes.
- Menu Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the beverage and food menus including ingredients preparation methods and pairing suggestions. Provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Cocktail Crafting: Mix classic and contemporary cocktails with consistency and attention to detail maintaining high standards for presentation and quality.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean wellorganized bar area ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This includes restocking supplies cleaning glassware and keeping the bar area tidy at all times.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing bar inventory by tracking usage and notifying management of stock needs. Participate in monthly or weekly inventory checks.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure a seamless dining and bar experience for guests. Communicate effectively to ensure special requests and dietary restrictions are respected.
- Compliance: Adhere to all state and local laws regarding alcohol service and ensure that members and guests are of legal drinking age. Practice responsible alcohol service at all times.
- Problem Solving: Resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally seeking management assistance when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years of bartending experience in a highvolume or upscale environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails spirits wines and beers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally more.
- Must be able to handle the physical demands of working in a busy bar environment.
