Position: Estimator Multifamily Experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in multifamily construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of accurately estimating construction costs for multifamily projects as well as a thorough understanding of the construction process. This is a fulltime permanent position with opportunities for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze project plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates
Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project scope
Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate and competitive pricing
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and budgets for each project phase
Identify potential costsaving measures and value engineering opportunities
Maintain cost database and update pricing information as needed
Monitor project progress and provide cost updates to project team
Participate in bid meetings and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers
Review and negotiate change orders and manage cost impacts
Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in construction costs
Assist in developing and implementing cost control procedures
Communicate effectively with project team and clients regarding cost estimates and budgets
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in multifamily construction
Strong knowledge of construction processes materials and methods
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
Valid drivers license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
