Job Description
A highly successful and wellestablished coeducational comprehensive school in the picturesque Richmond area seeks a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher for a fulltime permanent position commencing in September. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving Arts department within a school committed to the academic and creative development of its students.

About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and varied Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 covering music theory history composition and performance.
- Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that cater to a range of musical interests and abilities.
- Assess student progress through practical performances compositions written work and aural tests providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the vibrant extracurricular musical life of the school including leading or assisting with school ensembles and choirs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music.
- A strong knowledge of music theory history and performance practices.
- Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for music and the ability to inspire a lifelong appreciation for the subject.
