About the Role
An Independent secondary school in Barnet seeks a knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their humanities department from September. The role involves delivering engaging geography lessons across KS3 KS4 and potentially KS5 and fostering students understanding of geographical concepts and global issues. We are looking for a skilled Geography Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging geography lessons across KS3 KS4 and potentially KS5.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Develop students understanding of geographical concepts and global issues.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum.
- Organise and lead geographyrelated extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography.
- Proven experience in teaching geography at secondary level including ALevel if applicable.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
