About the Role
An Outstanding girls secondary school in Barnet seeks a creative Food Technology Teacher to join their design and technology department from September. The role involves delivering engaging food technology lessons at KS3 and KS4 developing students culinary skills and nutritional knowledge. We are looking for a skilled Food Technology Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging food technology lessons at KS3 and KS4.
- Develop students culinary skills and nutritional knowledge.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the food technology curriculum.
- Organise and lead food technologyrelated extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Food Technology.
- Proven experience in teaching food technology at secondary level.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of nutrition.
- Excellent communication and practical skills.
