Job Description

SENCO Inspirational Secondary School Reading April Start

Location: Reading
Contract: FullTime Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (SEN Allowance)
A highly skilled and dedicated SENCO is required for an inspirational secondary school in Reading. This is an important role for a leader who is committed to supporting students with additional needs and creating an inclusive environment where all students can thrive.

Your Role as SENCO:
Oversee the SEND provision in the school ensuring that students with additional needs receive the support they need to succeed.
Work closely with teachers parents and external agencies to develop and implement personalized learning plans for SEND students.
Lead and manage the SEND team ensuring the effective delivery of support across the school.
Track and monitor the progress of SEND students intervening as necessary to ensure their academic and emotional wellbeing.
Ensure the schools SEND policy is uptodate and effective.

Who Were Looking For:
A qualified teacher with a recognized SENCO qualification or the willingness to obtain one.
Significant experience in SEND and working with a range of additional learning needs.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
