VP Maritime Operations - CTI GL

On behalf of CTI GL MARPRO is looking for a VP Maritime operations for their office in Hoofddorp.

As a VP Maritime operations you will be responsible for bulding this new vertical from the ground up. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth within your region with the help of a sales team which you will personally build up. This role requires a proven track record in logistics and specifically in timecritical freight services exceptional managerial skills project management capabilities and an understanding of the logistics needs in the maritime industry.

CTI Global Logistics is an international logistics company that is a big player in the field of aviation and have offered tailored solutions to large airlines worldwide with tremendous success.

To develop the maritime branch CTI GL is now looking to hire a VP Maritime operations with the right network the right attitude and the right spirit to be responsible for the roll out of this new success story.

Professional Competencies

• A logistics background with experience in time critical deliveries
• At least a bachelors degree in business logistics supply chain management or a related field
• Minimum 7 10 years experience in the logistics maritime industry
• Minimum 7 10 years experience with airfreight and timecritical logistics
• A coaching leadership style
• Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the specific region are a plus
• Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Developing and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
• Developing and maintain excellent working relationships with customers.
• Developing a comprehensive strategy to achieve commercial results
• Setting targets for the (future) sales time
• Contribute actively to yearonyear gross revenue increase through new business.
• Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Use CRM tools to manage client interactions sales activities and pipeline management.
