About the Role
An Independent secondary school in Brent requires a dedicated Science Teacher with a Physics specialism for a temporary position starting in April. The role involves delivering engaging Physics lessons at KS3 and KS4 and contributing to the wider science department. We are looking for a skilled Science Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Physics lessons at KS3 and KS4.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Develop students understanding of physical concepts and practical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the delivery of the science curriculum.
- Organise and lead sciencerelated extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physics.
- Proven experience in teaching Physics at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
