About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Art & Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 covering a range of disciplines such as drawing painting sculpture printmaking and digital media.
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that encourage experimentation critical thinking and the development of individual artistic styles while also exploring historical and contemporary art movements.
- Assess student progress through project work sketchbooks portfolios and presentations providing detailed and constructive feedback to guide their artistic development.
- Contribute to extracurricular art clubs workshops or exhibitions to further students engagement with the subject.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art & Design or a closely related field.
- A strong understanding of art principles techniques art history and contemporary art practices.
- Excellent communication organizational and practical skills with proficiency in a range of art media and techniques.
- A passion for art and design and the ability to inspire students creativity and critical thinking about visual culture.
