Job Description

The Go to Market (GTM) Optimization and Business Health team has a simple mission: we turn massive amounts of data into robust tools and actionable insights that drive business value and provide best in class experience to our money movement clients. Our team is working to build consolidated strategic and scalable operational and analytics infrastructure to support best in class payments platforms.

Essential Functions

The Sr. Manager Process Optimization will be responsible for managing client and business health monitoring for commercial money movement and value added services products. Specific activities may include:

  • Manage a team of monitoring analysts located across the globe
  • Serve as a liaison to strategic business partners to understand their needs and propose and build fit for purpose solutions
  • Develop monitoring and alerting tools from realtime and daily data feeds to monitor for client level alerts performance drops risk and fraud events and rules violations
  • Build strategy and incident workflows that align with business needs and the teams functional capabilities
  • Create tools and processes to monitor the teams caseload to ensure appropriate investigation and resolution of identified risk and performance events
  • Automate alerts and workflows
  • Drive to understand the root problems define analytical objectives and formalize data requirements for various types of dashboards and analyses
  • Design and launch robust and intuitive dashboards supporting best in class money movement client experience
  • Create and present analytic deliverables to colleagues in the analytics team other internal stakeholders with varying degrees of analytical and technical expertise
  • Distill massive amounts of data across disparate data sources into efficient functional data repositories in a Big Data environment
  • Independently perform analysis to derive insights and render robust thoughtful results
  • Compare client performance against industry best practices with a shrewd eye toward identifying performance and/or profitability improvement opportunity
  • Develop presentations of complex data and content for clients and stakeholders in an accurate understandable and engaging manner

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Understanding of payments and money movement rules compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Experience managing a global operational monitoring function including realtime data and development of incident management workflows
  • Proven success automating data insights and processes
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP/CRM tools
  • Proficiency in Tableau and experience with best in class data visualization
  • Experience with Elasticsearch OpenSearch and Kibana dashboard and alerting creation
  • High level of proficiency manipulating data from a variety of sources Big data skills (Hadoop Hive Spark) and/or SQL skills required
  • Strong verbal written and interpersonal skills with the ability to summarize complex topics into easy to understand pieces
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
  • Functional knowledge of programming languages such as Python Java and/or Shell Scripting
  • Strong strategic thinking problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Ability to interact and manage stakeholders globally and across timezones
  • Visa experience or knowledge of the payments industry


Additional Information :

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 130800.00 to 200700.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
