Job Description
Role purpose : Ensure efficient high quality and costeffective creation and maintenance of Master Data for the region. Efficient creation and management of Master Data is a critical enabler for the running of Syngentas and CP businesses from sourcing and production to supply to internal and external customers.
- Acts as a single point of contact for master data requirements for regional P&S
- Acts as a bridge between Syngenta business and Capgemini central MDM team
- Supports and manages exceptions and issue management
- Recognized as a subject matter expert for MDM within the regional P&S organization
- Coordinates MDM activities across different P&S functions within the region and drives improvement activities and change agenda across P&S.
- Drive improvement in the MDM activities across the AMEA.
Accountabilities
- Validates and approves data readiness for complex data creation and enrichment scenarios
- Act as point of escalation for requestors or CG MDM team to unblock master data requests
- Review E2E workflow status for data creation and enrichment taking action where required
- Review MDM KPIs & SLA performance and drive continuous improvement to address any identified systemic issues
- Explore master data improvement opportunities including acting as SME in improvement initiatives and projects highlighting new business scenarios to the wider MDM team
- Assess and drive improvements in knowledge of business stakeholders to ensure appropriate level of understanding of MDM processes within wider community
- Assess training documentation needs of business stakeholders and work together with MDM Business Analysts to ensure appropriate documentation is provided
- Appropriately communicate MDM related impacts across relevant business departments
Qualifications :
Knowledge experience & capabilities
Critical knowledge
- Bachelor degree in technical engineering or supply chain management
- Experience in planning & operations processes
- Experience in Master data management and understand the complex master data structures in the business.
- Project management experience.
Critical experience
- 35 years of experience in supply and/or operations roles with experience of master data management
- Experience in working in an environment with complex master data structures
- Lean / six sigma experience of advantage
Critical technical professional and personal capabilities
- Track record of high performance in current and previous roles
- Good communication with various stakeholders and other functions
- Proactive team player / knowledge sharer / open and transparent
- Good analytical thinking and planning ability.
