Job Description
The Quality Inspector/Monitor Temporary Summer Help inspects and monitors the quality of the manufacturing ware prior to shipping.
The Quality Inspector/MonitorTemporary Summer Help should have:
- Be highly safety conscious
- A desire to learn and grow within our industry
- Ability to work in a team environment
The Quality Inspector/MonitorTemporary Summer Help will:
- Be responsible for defect analysis (gauging and visual) of finished ware
- Provide feedback to maintenance personnel regarding necessary adjustments to inspection machines conveyors stacker and other equipment to maintain top quality
- Share information with the forming department regarding the findings of suspect ware
- Report to crew leaders and supervisors any bad glass bad machine conditions or defective machine parts which cannot be corrected
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience in an industrial environment is a plus
- Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Able to work night shift
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis
