Job Description

Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water and wastewater services including a complete line of planning design permitting and construction phase services. Maintaining water quality is Olssons number one concern and we are able to respond to a broad set of client demands in a timely and costeffective manner. 

The Kansas City Area Water/Wastewater Group Leader will be responsible for the overall performance leadership and management of the water/wastewater staff they supervise. This includes collaborating with the market sector discipline and geography leads on short and longterm strategic planning annual business planning ongoing business development and client development team member recruiting and retention team member professional development consistently meeting company highperformance expectations for utilization and financial performance and overall project production/quality. The Water/Wastewater Group Leader may also manage multiple projects and/or assist the project team with project management duties and best practices.

We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our North Kansas City MO or Overland Park KS office location. 


Qualifications :

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team. 
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the consulting industry. 
  • At least 4 years of experience supervising others. 
  • Daily management and leadership.
