Job Description
This position will perform CITRIX System Administration duties at a DoD facility.
Responsibilities
The duties include but are not limited to the management maintenance and sustainment of the CITRIX environment CITRIX products and CITRIX hosted applications for a DoD customer.
Administers develops runs tests implements and maintains operating system and related software. Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software according to specifications and parameters. Troubleshoots and resolves software operating system and networking problems. Schedules performs and monitors system backups and performs data recoveries. Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts. Provides technical support for system users. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higherlevel staff. May act as lead.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
Experience in the management maintenance and sustainment of the CITRIX environment CITRIX products and CITRIX hosted applications.
Experience including managing successful large scale multidiscipline technology or serviceoriented projects involving CITRIX
Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS Windows Server/2022 and Infrastructure (AD CIFS DNS and GPO).
Specialized Experience:
CITRIX/XenApp Presentation Server Technology Citrix Secure Gateway Desktop Delivery Control Citrix Resource manager and database Microsoft Windows Server Administration Microsoft OS Certification JAVA/JDK/J2EE.
CompTIA Security Certification (or government approved IT Security Certification e.g. CISSP).
BS degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity Data Science Information Systems or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution.
Required to be U.S. citizen.
Must be able to maintain Secret clearance eligibility.
