Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and safetyconscious Maintenance Technician to join our team at Dubois Chemicals. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment and systems to ensure reliable safe and compliant operations. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations in a highrisk chemical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production and fleet equipment pumps mixers piping valves.
- Troubleshoot mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
- Perform facility maintenance including plumbing lighting emergency systems and structural repairs.
- Conduct inspections and testing of safety systems (e.g. ventilation emergency shutoffs gas detection fire suppression).
- Read and interpret equipment manuals schematics blueprints and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities equipment history and spare parts inventory.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA EPA NFPA and facilityspecific safety standards.
- Participate in safety meetings training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist during plant shutdowns turnarounds and emergency response situations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferably in chemical oil & gas or manufacturing environments.
Experience working in hazardous environments (Class I Division I or II
