Are you an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ready to make a difference Hastings Senior Health & Living a toprated 72bed longterm care facility is looking for FullTime andPartTimeLPNs to join our dedicated compassionate team!
We are also offering a$10000 Bonus for FullTime and a $5000 Bonus for PartTime hires along with scholarships and student loan repayment assistance.We have staff appreciation events low staff resident/staff ratios and a management supported work environment. We are also hiring for OnCall!
Every Other Weekend Day 6:30am 3:00pm
LPN responsibilities:
- Assesses plans implements and evaluates care plans for residents.
- Recognizes and manages common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular respiratory urinary neurological sensory and pain problems.
- Supervises work performed by TMAsand Nursing Aides.
- Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents families and staff.
- Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physicians orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
- Manages medications supplies and equipment including ordering receiving storing and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
- Notifies Clinical Manager attending physicians and family members of significant changes in a residents condition and takes follow up action as necessary.
- Performs additional duties as required.
LPN skills and requirements:
- Must have a current MN LPN license and be in good standing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Skills in problem definition and resolution.
- Ability to focus all efforts toward quality resident care.
