If you answered yes to the question we invite you to seize the opportunity to make a significant impact as a Network Engineer. The main objective will be to provide technical support to Galileo operations and all Ground Segment related activities.
Security:
In line with security requirements for the missions of this position the candidate must hold European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required as part of the recruitment process. Additionally due to the nature of our work all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.
What youll do
- Design configure and maintain complex network systems and infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure minimal downtime
- Monitor network performance and implement improvements
- Ensure network security through firewalls VPNs and other security measures
- Manage configure and troubleshoot VPNs firewalls switches and routers to ensure secure network operations
- Collaborate with other teams on projects and network scalability
What we are looking for
- University degree in Computer Science IT or a similar discipline
- Proven and strong experience in network engineering
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols security measures and network monitoring tools
- Expertise in Cisco Juniper or similar networking equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Certifications such as CCNP CCIE or similar preferred
- Experience in space missions ground system operations or maintenance
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
- Knowledge of Galileo or other navigation ground segment would be a plus
