Job Description
Job Summary
The Web Content Strategist in the Community Engagement portfolio is responsible for maintaining UFVs web channel and platform so that it effectively serves UFVs key audiences and strategic goals. This includes responsibility for the overall site structure site templates and criteria for using templates brand content formats content standards and guidelines.
Employing a usercentered design approach the incumbent works with university stakeholders to analyze business and user needs create site maps and wireframes set up new web pages and lead university staff through the process of populating web pages with content.
Qualifications
Bachelors in a related field from a recognized institution.
Three 3 years related experience in developing digital experiences in an institutional corporate or business setting.
Strong project management skills.
Strong writing editing and proofreading skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance several projects in a fastpaced environment.
Strong relationshipbuilding skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Experience with SEO SEM email and content marketing and customer journey mapping.
Understanding of HTML CSS and experience with web content management systems.
Capable in the use of MS Office suite and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Knowledge of postsecondary education is preferred
