Associate Interior Designer Prime Residential
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and creative Associate Interior Designer to join my clients team specializing in prime residential projects. You will play a key role in transforming client visions into stunning realities while also contributing to the growth of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior designers to develop and execute design concepts for highend residential projects.
- Conduct space planning furniture selection and material research to create aesthetically pleasing and functional interiors.
- Create detailed construction documents including drawings specifications and finishes schedules.
- Manage project budgets and timelines ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
- Source and procure furniture fixtures and finishes negotiating with vendors to secure the best value.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs preferences and budget.
- Develop strong client relationships fostering trust and exceeding expectations.
- Assist with business development activities such as preparing presentations and proposals.
- Stay current on design trends materials and technologies within the residential design industry.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in Interior Design or a related field is required.
- 10 years of experience working on highend residential projects is preferred.
- The candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles space planning and construction documents.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD Adobe CS SketchUp etc. and design presentation tools is a must.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills are required.
- The ability to build rapport and manage client relationships effectively is essential.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are necessary.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality are expected.
- Experience in business development and client communication is a plus.
