CT Radiographer I 15k Sign on Bonus
$15000 Sign on Bonus applies to non University of Maryland Medical System employees
FullTime; Night Shift; Wednesday Friday and Saturday 7pm7am
Various Shifts Available:
- Nights; Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday 9:00pm7:00am (FullTime)
- Nights; Friday Saturday Sunday 7:00pm7:00am (FullTime)
- Nights; Sunday Monday Tuesday 7:00pm7:00am (FullTime)
- PRN; As Needed Schedule

As a CT Radiographer you will:
- Perform a variety of routine and specialized technical procedures with limited supervision.
- Schedule examinations according to CT protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a smooth and productive workflow.
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Clinical Practice/Patient Care:
- Operate Tomography Imaging equipment per standard procedures.
- Demonstrate clinical competence in Musculoskeletal Neuro and Body imaging.
- Show basic knowledge in computers and image management.
- Respond to patient care emergencies.
- Pursue continuing education in CT.
- Document QA activities.
- Select appropriate protocols.
- Ensure patient safety per regulatory standards.
- Leadership:
- Participate in scheduling work with support personnel.
- Review radiology procedure requests with radiologists or supervisors as needed.
- Unit Management:
- Notify Chief Tech/Team Leader of protocol change requests.
- Communicate with clinicians about patient preparation.
- Comply with departmental and UMMS standards.
- Ensure availability of unitbased products (e.g. O2 tubing).
Qualifications :
- Requirements:
- Graduation from an AMAapproved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene license.
- CPR certification.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of crosssectional anatomy.
- Understanding of imaging principles and practices.
