You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailJoin us in bringing a new approach to medical and wellbeing care for detainees by:
Providing individual and group counselling sessions to address a broad spectrum of psychosocial issues.
Conducting detailed psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and strengths and developing personalized treatment plans.
Offering immediate support and intervention during crisis situations ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients.
Maintaining accurate and uptodate client records including assessment results treatment plans and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
***Casual or 0.2 FTE position available***
Qualifications :
Lets talk about you!
A Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Counselling or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a counselling or social work role preferably working with diverse populations facing various psychosocial issues.
Current registration with a professional body (e.g. ACA PACFA or equivalent).
Current registration with a relevant industry association (e.g. ACA Level 2 PACFA).
