Position: Senior QA Analyst (Banking and amp; Financial Applications)
Location: Whitefield Bengaluru (OnSite)
Job Type: FullTime
Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and compliance of banking and financial applications with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) excellent analytical skills and the ability to lead testing initiatives within the organization. Excellent communication skills are mandatory as this is a clientfacing role.

Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Strategy:
Develop comprehensive Master Test Plans and strategies tailored to banking and financial applications.
Define testing scope objectives resources and schedules to ensure thorough coverage and timely delivery.
Test Design and :
Design develop and execute detailed test cases test scripts and test data based on functional and technical specifications.
Conduct various types of testing including functional regression performance user acceptance testing (UAT) and security testing.
Utilize both manual and automated testing techniques to validate application functionality and performance.
Defect Management:
Identify document and track defects using standardized defect management tools.
Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues ensuring defectfree application releases.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with developers business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide input on testability and quality risks.
Participate in clientfacing discussions demonstrating expertise in financial application testing and addressing client concerns effectively.
Quality Assurance Leadership:
Lead and mentor junior QA team members fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends tools and technologies to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills and amp; Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance preferably within the banking and financial sector.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and various testing methodologies.
Handson experience with manual and automation testing tools and frameworks.
Proficiency in test management tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail) and bugtracking software.
Familiarity with SQL for database testing and validation.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills (mandatory) both verbal and written as this is a clientfacing role.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Proven ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
Experience in client interactions and managing stakeholder expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
Understanding of regulatory compliance standards in the banking and financial industry.
Work Schedule and amp; Location:
Workdays: Monday to Saturday with alternate Saturdays working.
Work Hours: 10:30 AM 7:30 PM.
Location: Whitefield Bengaluru (onsite).
