The Department of Hospitalist Medicine at Good Samaritan Medical Center Brockton MA part of Boston Medical Center Health System is a teaching hospital seeking to recruit a boardeligible/boardcertified day time hospitalist to join a team of 26 practitioners to provide highquality patientcentered care hospital. The candidate will join an established and stable hospitalist group with the opportunity to work with residents. The candidate should possess excellent clinical and communication skills and have a strong commitment to collaborate with other specialties to provide superior care. Hospitalists are scheduled 7/7 7a7p 182 shifts per year average of 16 patient encounters per day and are not required to perform procedures or round in the ICU. Candidate should be BE/BC able to obtain a Massachusetts medical license and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
Good Samaritan Medical Center located just 25 miles south of Boston is an acutecare 267bed hospital providing comprehensive inpatient outpatient and Level III Trauma emergency services to Brockton and 22 neighboring communities. The hospital offers Centers of Excellence care in orthopedics oncology and cardiology specialized care in surgery familycentered obstetrics with leveltwo nursery substance abuse treatment and advanced diagnostic imaging.
