Global Widget is a vertically integrated nextgeneration consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturer of quality health and wellness products focusing on gummy production. Our dedication to innovation lies within our mission to formulate manufacture and distribute the industrys mosttrusted products for healthconscious consumers everywhere.
We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) QA Technician to support our manufacturing operations by performing regular inspection tests on materials to ensure compliance with Global Widget procedures.
We have 2 openings for our 2nd Shift 3pm 12am)
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure the quality of all processes by conducting from raw materials to finished goods inspection.
- Performs testing of goods that are being produced. Follows all applicable procedures for those tests.
- Conduct package quality inspection and isolate products that do not meet standards.
- Alert production supervisor and operators if a nonconformance is detected to allow for corrective action to be taken to bring the process or product into compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all Global Widget procedures.
- Ensure the production of safe and highquality products and maintain quality documentation according to quality program. Monitor GMP/GDP in the production areas.
- Collect samples as required.
- Provide backup support for other quality positions as needed.
Qualifications
Required Experience and Education
- High School diploma or equivalent GED required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Previous production/manufacturing/QA experience.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
- Basic computer proficiency
