Job Description

As an I.T. Support Specialist you will play a crucial role in ensuring technology systems function smoothly providing frontline support to staff and assisting in the management of technological tools and infrastructure.

To meet the increasing needs of our communities all team members must successfully reach and maintain expected performance standards. Lighthouse will provide the tools and training necessary to help you succeed.

DEFINITION:

Under moderate to minimal supervision:

  • Will provide advanced support to all staff for technical issues system upgrades troubleshooting and process improvements to ensure smooth operations.
  • Will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing Lighthouses technology infrastructure to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

This position is supervised by the Chief Information Officer.

Qualifications and Benefits

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate or bachelors degree in information technology or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 13 years of experience in I.T. support with at least 1 year at a Tier 1 or equivalent level.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Advanced understanding of hardware software and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and grow understanding in your field.
  • Proficiency with I.T. tools and systems including Windows Office 365 Active Directory and ticketing systems.
  • Experience with system imaging patch management and device configuration.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Familiarity with security best practices including data protection and vulnerability management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical support for end users.
  • Assist with the setup configuration and maintenance of computers printers and peripheral devices.
  • Manage user accounts passwords and permissions within Azure and other platforms.
  • Support internal staff with onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assist in training end users on software hardware and system changes.
  • Updating and managing I.T. documentation and knowledge base.
  • Complete project related tasks that are assigned.
  • Collaborate with I.T. staff to improve processes and system efficiency.
  • Follow security protocols to protect company data and systems.

Must perform the specific job duties as listed above to meet position expectations.
