After a long day on the slopes our guests canfind plenty of Keystone restaurants to satisfy their cravings. From fine dining to burgers pizza to international cuisine our restaurants are on mountain or justa short walkfrom the slopes delicious dining awaits.

Entry Cooks are focused on providing the best possiblecustomerservice and the preparation of foodforour Mountain DiningOutlets in a timely and correct manner.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Follow prep sheets accurately and with a sense of urgency.
  • Read understand and follow recipes standards and management expectations.
  • Rotate product appropriatelyandmaintain a clean & sanitary work station.
  • Must adhere to all safety/food handling/chemical trainings and encourage and participate in a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Washing dishes cleaning kitchens stocking and prep are essential job functions and required for this position.
  • Other duties including cleaning stewarding and other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge and application of sanitary practices personal hygiene safe food handling and basic kitchen practices.
  • Desire and ability to work as part of a team as well as completing tasks with minimal supervision at times.
  • Conversational level and written English a requirement.
  • Prior cooking experience in high volume situations strongly preferred.
  • All food court cook positions require guest facing interactions excellent guest service & a desire to provide an experience of a lifetime to every guest is an essential function of this position.
  • This position requires Certified Slip Resistant shoes PRIOR to the first day of work in the outlet the candidate is required to provide their own shoes.
  • This position will involve lifting (up to 40lbs) standing and walking for long periods of time (up to 10 hours) mixed scheduling (days evenings) working weekends and holidays utilizing kitchen equipment (slicers knives dish machines chemicals) and possible outdoor work.

Additional Information:

Depending on the location of the position a double or single gondola/chair lift ride may be required as the transportation to and from work. Be aware that some locations are operationally weather dependent there may be shut downs or delays in the work day. For certain locations punctuality is vital as transportation is via gondola/chair lift with restricted travel times. All cooking positions in our food courts are guest facing during busy times an excellent candidate will be focused on outstanding guest service going above and beyond the letter of the job and seeking to deliver the experience of a lifetime to our guests. An excellent candidate will possess a sense of urgency while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude they will be flexible and open to change and modification of recipes/station layouts/station assignments and other aspects of the business.

Compensation is $10.00/hour
