Job Description

Your Career

As a Principal Product Designer you will play a pivotal role in crafting cohesive yet simple product experiences for Visibility and Reporting within Strata Cloud Manager. You would join a team of likeminded people pushing the boundaries of web applications that tackle real problems in the cybersecurity space.   You will use your enthusiasm for your work to drive the design processes coach team members who have potential and work with team leaders to provide creative experiences.

Your Impact

  • Deliver and drive UX vision along with a plan for evolutionary iterative updates that actualize the broader vision end to end  over time
  • Analyze customer problems and oversee the design of delightful solutions that meet measurable business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including product managers engineering QA researchers and a UX writer to translate business requirements into use cases flows wireframes and high fidelity designs
  • Lead and collaborate with UX researchers on explorative and evaluative studies to enrich the product experience
  • Excellent visual design and prototyping abilities that supports innovative and experimental design culture
  • Contribute to a design system maintain high quality UX standards for our products
  • Push limits and consistently aim for better design solutions
  • Provide leadership direction and mentorship to the design team

Qualifications :

Your Experience 

  • Understand usercentered design methodologies have strong empathy for the users and are committed to be their fierce advocate 
  • Have an extraordinary aesthetic sense for beautiful designs and pay attention to all the details
  • Maintain constant curiosity on business aspects of the products and utilize the knowledge to distill complex needs into elegant designs
  • Strong timemanagement skills; must be able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Understand how the north star design concepts get broken down into iterative sprints
  • Have a growth mindset and willingness to fail fast and learn
  • Constantly seeks feedback to improve; Focussed on solving issues
  • Possess humility and maturity; welcome candid feedback and are able to give constructive feedback as well
  • Deliver with industrystandard design tools: e.g. Figma
  • Have knowledge of and experience with working with UI teams using modern extended frontend web technologies Own a design portfolio showcasing your excellent design work
  • Have a college degree in design human computer interaction or related fields
  • Have at least 5 years of experience

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications experience and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level the starting base salary (for nonsales roles) or base salary commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $133000/YR $215500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
