Position Overview
Join our Cardiac Telemetry/MedSurg Unit and provide expert care to patients with complex cardiac conditions in a fastpaced acute care environment. This role is perfect for RNs who excel at critical thinking telemetry monitoring and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.

• Manage postsurgical CHF and arrhythmia patients in a MedSurg setting.

• Administer cardiac medications and treatments per protocols.

• Educate patients/families on heart health recovery and discharge plans.

• Document in EMR and collaborate with cardiologists hospitalists and rapid response teams.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active Florida RN License (or compact with FL licensure within 90 days for 3 years of experience).

• Experience: 1 year in acute care (Telemetry StepDown or MedSurg preferred).

• Certifications:

  • BLS (within 30 days)

  • ACLS (within 90 days)

• Skills: Proficient in telemetry interpretation IV medications and rapid assessments.
