Job Description

Required Minimum Education:Associates Medical Technology or Other / Certificate Medical Technology Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.Med Lab Technician (AAB) or Med Lab Technician (AMT) or Med Lab Technician (ASCP) Additional License(s) and Certification(s): For persons who possess the technician qualifications and have recently moved into the state or completed the academic and/or training requirements they may be temporarily classified once as technicians within 11/2 Yrs Required Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 1 year Laboratory experience Preferred Required Minimum Skills: Accuracy: Maintains acceptable accuracy inpatient quality assurance proficiency and competency testing. Critical Thinking: Uses clinical/theoretical knowledge to analyze investigate interpret and report lab data. Job Knowledge: Maintains current personal training education and practice of policies and procedures. Productivity: Practices organizational skills for efficient of time materials cost and availability of lab data. Communication: Practices information monitoring investigation resolution and handoff to team members
