SENIOR FINANCIAL LEADER: CONTROLLER
Dover OH
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Join a respected leader as their Controller where youll have the opportunity to drive financial excellence and strategic decisionmaking. In this pivotal leadership role youll oversee all accounting operations while providing critical financial insights that help shape the companys future.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the daily accounting operations including AP AR and payroll
- Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements and reports
- Ensure regulatory compliance with accounting standards and tax laws
- Direct monthly quarterly and annual closing processes
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls
- Develop financial forecasts budgets and variance analyses
- Support management with strategic financial planning and analysis
- Oversee audit preparation and tax filings
- Lead and mentor accounting team members
- Collaborate across departments to drive financial performance
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management preferably as Controller
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and budgeting
- Strong proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving capabilities
- Meticulous attention to detail with outstanding organizational abilities
- Proven leadership skills with ability to develop team members
