Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests and assist them in selecting menu items
Take and process food and beverage orders
Ensure all orders are delivered promptly and accurately
Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or issues
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of food
Maintain a clean and organized dining area
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
Follow all company policies and procedures including safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Attend and participate in team meetings and trainings as required
Qualifications:
FLUENT IN GERMAN (Speaking & Reading)
Previous experience as a senior waiter or in a similar role in a 4/5 star restaurant
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Team player with a positive attitude
Knowledge of cash handling and credit card processing
Willingness to travel and working on weekends
Must be able to pass a preemployment medical examination and background check to work in a cruise ship
