Job Title: XRay Technologist
Location: Elk River Minnesota
Salary: $23.66 $35.50 per hour (based on experience; unionized position)
Shift: Varied Shifts Weekdays: 48 Hour Shifts Weekends: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM 56 Hours Per 2Week Pay Period Every Weekend Required No OnCall
Job Overview:
We are hiring a XRay Technologist for a permanent position in Elk River MN. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic radiologic exams across all age groups and provide additional support with patient care duties allergy injections and daily radiology operations. This unionized position offers a competitive hourly wage and a stable teamoriented work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiology exams on infants adolescents adults and geriatric patients
- Operate and set up radiology equipment according to safety and quality standards
- Conduct allergy injections and assist with rooming and patient care when needed
- Maintain accurate radiology records and xray files
- Ensure equipment functionality through routine maintenance and arrange repairs as needed
- Support general radiology operations and collaborate with other departments
- Carry out additional duties as assigned to support overall organizational goals
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification or eligibility to obtain
- State licensure (if required in Minnesota)
- Prior experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Ability to work a varied schedule including every weekend
