Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Waltham Forest to assist with the appointment of a Sports and Leisure Officer on a 3month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 17.81 22.38 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all areas of the facility are maintained and prepared to the highest possible standards.
- Providing visible leadership to facility users assisting with set up and set down of activities while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Overseeing the management & efficient operation of the leisure facility.
- Assisting the Sport and Leisure Manager in implementing any Management Systems maintaining all operational standards records and financial procedures in accordance with instructions and regulations.
- To administer First Aid as required
Knowledge:
- Appropriate professional qualifications including First Aid
- Solid business understanding and awareness
- Knowledge of Industry legislation
- Good understanding of the characteristics and qualities that customers want from leisure / and sport facilities
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and other legislation in relation to sport and leisure facility operations
- Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plans.
Experience:
- Previous experience in sport and leisure facility operations.
- Experience of achieving results and making a difference to customers.
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
