Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bath and North East Somerset to assist with the appointment of a Grounds Maintenance Operative on a 5month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 12.59 16.27 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various horticultural tools and equipment (mowers hand tools powered tools tractors).
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations including safe handling and storage of chemicals.
- Use electronic devices to log work report issues and record tasks.
- Interact with the public and handle complaints as directed by managers.
- Work flexibly across multiple council services (waste recycling cleansing parks).
- Train to operate vehicles and machinery such as LGVs forklifts and balers where applicable.
Requirements:
- Vocational qualification or relevant experience at Level 2.
- Knowledge of grounds maintenance techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
