Job Description
- Serve in a fundamental role as an interdisciplinary treatment team member for psychiatric patients creating and executing treatment plans
- Observe evaluate and record patient behavior condition & response to medication
- As charge nurse initiate and direct psychiatric and nursing care for patients and provide support for nursing staff while promoting a positive and safe environment for recovery
- Contributes vital input on records plans and reports
- Facilitate patient group activities
You Also Need to Know:
- Must be able to complete a full time orientation
- May work weekends and holidays; may be exposed to communicable diseases and unpredictable patient behavior
- Training and development required to remain in the classification after employment
- Biennial renewal of licensure as registered nurse
- is limited to 1000 hours in a fiscal year
- will remain at step 1 of the pay range
- will not be eligible to accrue vacation personal or sick leave
- will be utilized as needed and is not guaranteed a specific schedule shift or unit
- serves in the unclassified service and as such at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority

We also deliver comprehensive care to patients committed through the criminal justice system.
Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code.
