Salary Information: Minimum for Academic Year$1911 per credit hour commensurate with education and experience.
Other Conditions:
For lecturer applicant pool parttime pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements.
Must be available to teach courses online and in person either during the day evening or weekend.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach assigned courses such as HWST 107 and/or PACS 108 inHawaiian Pacific Studies.
Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
Work under supervision of the division chair in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in the discipline area.
As needed work with multimedia presentation distance education instruction and teaching at offcampus sites.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Hawaiian Pacific Studies or relevant discipline for lecturers in Hawaiian Pacific Studies.
Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
Desirable Qualifications
College teaching experience.
