The Yale Cancer Center and the Section of Medical Oncology invite applications from boardcertified/board eligible medical oncologists for a position in GI Medical Oncology. The incumbent should have a demonstrated academic record consistent with the level of Assistant Professor Associate Professor or Professor at Yale School of Medicine. Areas of preferred clinical specialty include gastroesophageal cancer pancreatic cancer and clinical cancer genetics.
Experience in the development of clinical trials and novel therapies for gastrointestinal cancers is particularly important in addition to clinical expertise participation in multidisciplinary teams in both clinical practice and research and important contributions to research and/or clinical care in GI Medical Oncology. Clinical practice will take place at a Smilow Cancer Hospital location likely based in New Haven North Haven Trumbull or Greenwich CT. Dr. Pamela Kunz Director of the Center for Gastrointestinal Cancers at Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center and Chief of GI Medical Oncology will lead this search.
