About the Role
An Outstanding secondary school in Brent seeks a passionate English Teacher to join their English department from September. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across all key stages fostering a love of literature and language and preparing students for GCSE and ALevel examinations. We are looking for a skilled English Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across all key stages.
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations.
- Develop students analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback. We require an English Teacher who can perform these tasks.
- Contribute to the development of the English curriculum.
- Organise and lead Englishrelated extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
- Proven experience in teaching English at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. We need an experienced English Teacher for this position.
