Job Description
A successful Coeducational State School in the picturesque Richmond area requires an innovative and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher for a fulltime permanent role starting in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop their design thinking practical skills and understanding of technological processes.

* **About the Role:**
* Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 covering areas such as product design resistant materials electronics and potentially graphics or textiles.
* Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that encourage students to explore design briefs experiment with materials and utilize a variety of tools and techniques.
* Assess student progress through project work design portfolios and practical assessments providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the Design & Technology curriculum and participate in departmental initiatives.
* **Ideal Candidate:**
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design & Technology or a closely related field.
* A good understanding of design principles manufacturing processes and current technologies relevant to the secondary D&T curriculum.
* Excellent communication organizational and practical skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Proficiency in using relevant design software and workshop equipment.
