ABOUT THE ROLE
The fullcharge bookkeeper position is onsite and will report to upper management. Responsibilities include managing the accounting department ensuring accurate financial reporting managing the daily operations implementing internal controls and providing timely information to senior management.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Manage an accurate and deadline driven monthly quarterly and annual close process financial reporting processing biweekly payroll.
- Oversee all general ledger accounting activity as well as lead the revenue recognition process in accordance with the percentage of completion method including the WIP reconciliation
- Assist with preparation of the audit schedules and yearend audit work papers in partnership with external CPA firm.
- Perform daily AP tasks including interaction and communication with vendors
- Coding and inputting invoices into the accounting system
- Produce accurate cash flow reporting on a monthly basis
- Budget maintenance and variance reporting.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Solid understanding and working knowledge of GAAP and financial statements
- Strong management organizational and analytical skills
- Possess welldeveloped interpersonal and communication verbal and written skills
- Adherence to the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
- Proficient with QuickBooks
