About the Role
An Independent secondary school in Harrow seeks an experienced ALevel English Teacher to join their team from April. The role involves delivering engaging ALevel English Literature and Language lessons preparing students for examinations and fostering a love of literature. We are looking for a skilled ALevel English Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging ALevel English Literature and Language lessons.
- Prepare students for ALevel examinations and assessments.
- Develop students analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the ALevel English curriculum. We require an ALevel English Teacher who can perform these tasks.
- Organise and lead extracurricular activities related to English Literature and Language.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
- Proven experience in teaching ALevel English Literature and Language.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for literature.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. We need an experienced ALevel English Teacher for this position.
