Job Description
We are seeking a Trainee Cargo Inspector to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in the logistics shipping and inspection industry. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in inspecting sampling and measuring cargo shipments including petroleum chemicals and dry goods.
- Monitor loading and unloading operations to ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.
- Conduct quality and quantity assessments of cargo at ports terminals and storage facilities.
- Record and report findings accurately and submit documentation as required.
- Work closely with senior inspectors port staff and clients to ensure smooth cargo operations.
- Follow health safety and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications :
What were looking for:
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic IT skills for report documentation.
- A valid drivers license (Essential).
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and night shifts.
