Executive Director Development Asset Leader

About This Role

Biogen is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Director  Development Asset Lead (DAL) team leader to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of our innovative pipeline assets ensuring the successful of development strategies and driving the overall success of our development programs. 

What Youll Do

• Lead a team that focuses on the development of pipeline assets from preclinical through clinical development regulatory approval and commercialization. 
• Develop and execute comprehensive integrated development strategies including clinical regulatory and commercial plans. 
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including research clinical regulatory commercial and manufacturing to ensure alignment and successful of development plans. 
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders  . 
• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the development asset team ensuring the achievement of key milestones and objectives. 
• Manage the development budget and resources ensuring efficient and effective use of resources. 
• Stay current with industry trends competitive landscape and regulatory requirements to inform development strategies and decisionmaking. 

Qualifications :

• Advanced degree (PhD MD or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in drug development with a proven track record of successfully leading development programs through regulatory approval and commercialization.
•  15 years of experience leading and mentoring a team of employees fostering a collaborative and highperforming environment.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive development plans.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate crossfunctional teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Indepth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for drug development.
• Experience in managing development budgets and resources.

Additional Information :

• This position is based in Cambridge MA with potential travel to other locations as needed.
• Biogen offers a competitive compensation package including base salary bonus and longterm incentive (LTI) opportunities.

The base salary range for this position is $293000 $451000. Base salary offered is determined though an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including but not limited to relevant skills & experience job location
and internal equity.  

Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and longterm
